Welcome to Victoria Baker Weddings, the home of creative wedding photography in Leeds.
I pride myself on providing wedding photography services that are truly bespoke and I thrive on producing photographs that exceed your every expectation. That's why I'm constantly searching for new ways to create images that boast the perfect balance of imagination and creativity that so many of my clients desire.
My passion has always been photography, and with my love of weddings I am so lucky to share and capture the most special of moments, that can be relived for a lifetime. I ensure that your day is about you, and the photography is truly bespoke, inspired by you, creating beautiful, natural and candid photography, you won't even know I'm there. My style of photography is relaxed, creative reportage, focusing on capturing you, your love, and the essence of the day!
Choosing the wedding photographer that is right for you can be a difficult decision. Along with choosing the style of wedding photography that suits you as a couple, you want a wedding photographer that you feel comfortable with in every situation during your wedding day. In the experience I have gained photographing weddings over the last few years, it is so important to me that the bride and groom feel completely at ease with me around. I don't believe in wedding photographers that take charge of weddings and boss people around. I believe a wedding photographer should blend seamlessly into your wedding day and as well as taking the formal wedding photographs that each couple want, collect a series of natural, candid wedding photographs of your day - the bits the couple don't often get to see!
Wherever you are in Yorkshire and whatever type of wedding or event you are planning, I can capture the essence of your event with wedding photographs that truly tell a story of your special day. From small, intimate weddings and elopements to large scale weddings with hundreds of guests, I will work with you to create photographs that reflect entirely your desired vision, atmosphere and ambience.
Browse my extensive range of photography and retouching services online at your leisure and pick out a package to complement your event. If you need some inspiration, look no further. From alternative urban weddings, to a Yorkshire Barn wedding, we have something to suit all tastes as well as budgets of all sizes.
Sam and Anthony chose to get married in Saltburn-by-the-sea because after spending a lot of time there together whilst dating, Anthony proposed to Sam on the beautiful pier at Saltburn. I photographed Sam and Anthony’s beautiful wedding at a little church in Bishop Auckland and then went onto a lovely wedding reception at The Spa Hotel in Saltburn-by-the-sea. It was the perfect English Seaside Wedding with an Afternoon Tea as their wedding breakfast!
Sarah & Tom get married at Sandburn Hall in June and I’m super excited! I have never photographed a wedding here before so I thought it would be a great idea to photograph their engagement session here so we can make a plan for the big day itself! There are so many beautiful spots for portraits around this venue, so we did a little walk through and made a plan for their wedding day.
Kimberley and Daniel booked me to photograph their wedding almost a year ago now, even though it seemed like yesterday! It was so lovely to catch up with them last week and get to hear all their lovely plans for their wedding next month at Falcon Manor!
Wow! Monica & Kirran’s intimate wedding at Leeds Town Hall last month was just beautiful! They booked me very last minute to come and photograph their intimate wedding ceremony at Leeds Town Hall on a beautiful Spring day. What a day it was too! The sun came out and after a very tearful ceremony, I photographed the two beautiful brides walking through Leeds city centre
Pascale and Hayden get married at Carlton Towers next Spring but they wanted to do an early Engagement Shoot so they could use some of the images for their wedding invites and save the dates. I love this idea and I have been hoping to shoot at Carlton Towers for ages so last weekend we took advantage of this gorgeous Spring sunshine and planned this lovely engagement session.
Sarah and Phillip get married at The Orangery in Settrington in a few weeks so we decided it would be a great plan to do a little recce of the venue and do their pre-wedding shoot there too! I have never visited The Orangery in Settrington before, and I was totally blown away with how beautiful it was.
Laura and Barry had their wonderful winter wedding at Falcon Manor in February this year! Everyone in their families was convinced it was going to be so snowy that no one would make it into The Yorkshire Dales for their special day - luckily there was no snow, only spots of rain. We did manage to get some lovely light though and we still got outside for some lovely portraits too!
I was super happy to exhibit at my second wedding fair of the year at this gorgeous industrial style wedding venue in Leeds, New Craven Hall. New Craven Hall is run by the lovely Jane and Ben who have transformed this amazing warehouse space into a warm, romantic and perfectly functional event space, perfect for weddings and parties.
Sam & Anthony are a beautiful couple with the cutest stories of their relationship and Anthony’s proposal! One of the best parts of my job is getting to meet couples that are madly in love, and these two were no different! I can’t wait to photograph their Yorkshire wedding in May!
This lovely couple get married in February, and I always like to make sure we get in a pre-wedding shoot, so things can run more smoothly on the day. It’s also a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other better.
