I haven't known Jenna and Andrew for long, but it didn't take me long to realise they are the happiest and loveliest couple in the world! I was absolutely delighted when they asked me to be their wedding photographer as I knew it would be a wonderful wedding filled with love and laughter!
As a wedding photographer in Yorkshire, I have photographed weddings at so many different wedding venues. However, Jenna and Andrew are getting married at Barmbyfields Barns in North Yorkshire in a few weeks and I had not yet been, so we went to have a peek at the venue whilst taking some lovely pre-wedding photographs. We could not have picked a nicer day for it, the sunshine was out and the season is just slowly starting to turn to the best Autumn yet for these two!
The venue is a beautifully converted barn set in acres and acres of open fields just outside York. There are some amazing textures and colours at this venue, such as amazing red brick walls and wooden features from when it used to be a working Granary Mill. As a wedding photographer, this fills me with joy and excitement for all the lovely places to take portraits on the wedding day!
Here are just a few photographs from Jenna & Andrew's engagement shoot at Barmbyfields Barn, North Yorkshire. The full engagement shoot will be available to view in my gallery in a few days.
This engagement shoot made me remember how much I love my job as a wedding photographer in Yorkshire. It doesn't matter what the weather does, and let's face it, it can be somewhat temperamental in the north of England, it all comes down to each couple and the happiest day of their lives! Lucky me, I get to be the one that documents this happy time and make some beautiful wedding photographs in the process! :)
I am super excited to photograph this lovely couples' wedding at Barmbyfields Barn now, it's going to be beautiful!!
