Pascale and Hayden get married at Carlton Towers next Spring but they wanted to do an early Engagement Shoot so they could use some of the images for their wedding invites and save the dates. I love this idea and I have been hoping to shoot at Carlton Towers for ages so last weekend we took advantage of this gorgeous Spring sunshine and planned this lovely engagement session.
Pascale and Hayden came to see me at the amazing Un-Wedding Show at Duke Studios in Leeds in February and booked me pretty much there and then. They wanted really natural but creative wedding photography for their wedding day, with an element of fun and colour!
Now I have seen the amazing Carlton Towers in all it’s gothic glory, I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year. Not only will it be a really beautiful day, but to photograph such a wonderful and lovely couple really makes my job the best it can be! You can see in these engagement photographs, this gorgeous couple are pure relationship goals! :)
I include engagement sessions in my two full day wedding photography packages because they are so helpful for preparing couples for the wedding day itself. It allows me to figure out what poses work for each couple as, lets face it, everyone is different. It also helps couples to get used to being in front of the camera. By the time the wedding comes, everyone is super comfortable and knows exactly what the plan is regarding the couple’s portrait session. Not only this, but you also get a lovely set of photographs to keep forever!
